Singapore - Want to pamper the participants BlackBerry DevCon 2011 held in Singapore, RIM share at least 1,000 units of the Playbook to all participants who are mostly application developers from Asia.
BlackBerry DevCon 2011 event was officially opened by Gregory Wade, RIM's Regional Managing Director at Suntec Covenvention Centre, Wednesday (07/12/2011).
"It DevCon second in Asia in one year, having previously held in Bali with the number of participants that reached 700 people," said Wade, in front of the participants.
For this event the amount claimed increased, from 700 previously has now reached 1,000 people from across Asia, which consists of application developers, communities, bloggers and media.
"We are grateful, and for that every peseta of this audience will get a free BlackBerry Playbook," added Wade.
In addition to all the participants share the Playbook, RIM also gives a bonus to the users of these tablets by providing gaming Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus HD, which can be downloaded during the event lasts. Unfortunately, this game is only applicable to users in Singapore.
BlackBerry DevCon 2011 will be held for two days, participants who followed the event is free of charge around $ 150, for academics and $ 250 regular rate.
