> The ideal candidate will possess expertise in identifying prehistoric ceramics and lithics, historic artifacts, and documenting archaeological features commonly found throughout the southwest. Individuals must also be familiar with the completion of survey and excavation forms, operating GPS units with a data recorder, and have knowledge of local and federal cultural resources guidelines. The candidate must also be capable of supervising a survey in remote locations and over steep terrain, have a clean driving record, and be able to work out-of-town when necessary. Ability to obtain permits to survey in adjacent states is a plus.
